About the Climate Action Dashboard

This Climate Action Dashboard is intended to provide information about the City's and our partners' actions toward achieving the goals of the Climate Action and Resilience Plan.

The City of Saint Paul's Climate Action & Resilience Plan (CARP) was adopted by the City Council in December 2019. The plan focuses on achieving carbon neutrality in city operations by 2030 and citywide by 2050, as well as a 50% reduction in carbon emissions citywide by 2030.

The Dashboard is divided into six categories:

  • Energy Use in Buildings
  • Sustainable Transportation
  • City Building and Operations
  • Green Infrastructure and Jobs
  • City Commitments and Rankings
  • Solid Waste

Actions can be found within each Category, and each action references one or more recommendations from the CARP that the action is intended to address. Some actions include indicators, which are quantified measures of the outcomes and impacts of those actions. Actions include a key contact at the City of Saint Paul who is responsible for tracking progress on that action.

Finally, there is a glossary of terms to help users decipher the information in the Dashboard.
